Nice Coup for Onstream Media

I see that Onstream Media got the Department of State contract to webcast the State of the Union Address tonight. That’s a chunk of online listenership! They are simulcasting in English, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesian, Farsi, French, Russian and Spanish. Yow! Follow-on archive translations will be available in Portuguese, Swahili, Turkish, and Hausa. Hausa? What’s that? I had to look it up. With about 22 million native speakers and another 17 million second-language speakers, it is used across Western Africa, particularly in Nigeria and Niger. Huh... You learn something new every day. You can use the State Department main page to get access to the webcast in your preferred language.
