Adobe has already notified customers of changes in store with the new version 9.1 upgrade of Adobe Connect coming out later this month. In case you missed them, the company created a quick Upgrade Checklist web page.
All meeting attendees must have Flash Player 11.2 installed on their computers (at a minimum).
There is a new version of the Adobe Connect Add-in for presenters, but this is trivial… It downloads and installs quickly and automatically if needed.
The most important change is for customers using Connect's "Seminar Rooms" functionality. This is used for larger webinars with many attendees. All seminar sessions will need to be prescheduled in your Connect account in release 9.1. In older versions of the product you could bypass the scheduling step and just use an existing always-available room and login.
Customers using the Adobe hosted service will see their accounts upgraded sometime after August 16. Adobe has an online checker available to see when your account is scheduled for upgrading.
