On Tuesday, June 26 I will be participating in an online panel webcast with about 120 other speakers. Okay, there's really only eight of us, but that's still a lot of opinions flying around the table! We are discussing the relative merits of using streaming media (audio, video, webcasting, webinars, etc) in the healthcare industry. I'm helping to represent the technical and implementation side of things. There are executives from large healthcare organizations on the panel to talk about their real world experiences. We'll be coming at you from a live studio shoot high above Times Square in New York City.
I can think of a number of reasons to tune in. You will see a professionally produced event shot with quality cameras, backdrops, lighting, and audio. This is the alternative I'm talking about when I say that you don't want to appear in a business webcast on your cheesy little PC webcam. We'll be discussing interesting applications of streaming media that should extend beyond the boundaries of healthcare alone (the fundamentals of promotional webinars are largely the same from industry to industry). And you may just want to see if my stuffy business headshot matches the way I look in real life.
Stream57 is hosting and moderating the event. You can preregister at http://www.s57.com/webcasts/20070626/default.aspx.
The webcast is scheduled to start at 2pm Eastern time. For your local timezone translation, click here.
I hope to "see you" on Tuesday!
