I have seen quite a few press releases and announcements from some of the less expensive web conferencing providers in the wake of Salesforce.com’s decision to drop Dimdim customers like dead fish.
ViVu has now joined the battle with a blog post announcing a special deal for Dimdim expatriates. Their normal trial account of VuCast is good for 30 days. But if you type “DimDim” into the box that asks “How did you hear about us?”, the trial period will be extended to a full year of free service with meetings of up to 25 people.
I last updated my impressions of ViVu in an August post. If live video and screen sharing are priorities for you, ViVu is worth evaluating.
